How do I find the crop coordinates I need?

Open the original image in any image viewer and hover over the point where you want the crop to start. Most viewers show pixel coordinates in the status bar (bottom of the window). Note the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) values. Then estimate the width and height of the area to keep, and enter those values into this tool.

Does cropping reduce image quality?

No. Cropping only removes pixels around the edges — the pixels you keep are identical to the originals. The remaining area is saved at the same quality level. This is different from resizing, which changes the pixel density of the entire image.

Can I crop a circle or non-rectangular shape?

What if I enter crop values larger than the image?
