How to use this tool

  1. Set the shared values

Fill in anything every link has in common, usually the website URL and the campaign name. A row only needs its own value where it differs.

  2. Paste your rows

Copy the cells from your spreadsheet and paste them into Rows. With a header row, columns are matched by name; without one, the order is url, source, medium, campaign, content, term, id.

  3. Check each row

The results table shows the tagged URL for every row. Rows with problems, such as capital letters, spaces or a missing source, show a note you can open to see what to fix.

  4. Copy or download

Copy all URLs as a list, one per line, ready to paste back into a sheet, or download a CSV with every parameter and the tagged URL in its own column.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create UTM links in bulk?

Put one link per row in a spreadsheet, with columns for the URL, source, medium and campaign, then copy the cells and paste them here. Every row is tagged instantly, and values that all rows share, such as the campaign name, can be entered once in Shared values instead of repeated on every line.

Which column names are recognised?

Headers are matched loosely: url, landing page, link or destination for the page, and source, medium, campaign or name, content, term or keyword, and id for the parameters, with or without a utm_ or campaign prefix. If the first row has fewer than two recognisable names, it is treated as data instead.

Can I paste from Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. Copied spreadsheet cells arrive as tab-separated text, which is detected automatically. Comma- and semicolon-separated CSV works too, including quoted cells that contain commas or line breaks, so an export from an ad platform or a CRM can be pasted without cleaning it up first.

Why is a row marked Not built?

A row is left untagged when it has no campaign source, from its own cell or from Shared values, or when its URL cannot be parsed as a web address. Open the note under the row to see which one it is, fix the cell, and the link builds immediately.

How many links can I tag at once?

Up to 1,000 rows at a time, which covers even large multi-market launches. Everything runs in your browser, so there is no upload wait and no usage limit; for a longer list, split it into batches of 1,000 and download a CSV for each batch.

What is in the downloaded CSV?

One row per input row, with the original URL, a column for every UTM parameter and the finished tagged URL at the end. It is saved as UTF-8 with a byte order mark, so Excel opens accented and non-Latin characters correctly instead of showing garbled text.
